Sébastien was born in 1979.

At the age of 14 , he discovered Zen meditation and at 16, Yoga, through the method developed by André Van Lysebeth.

Meanwhile, he studied from the age of 7 classical music (violin, piano and composition), and in 2007, he won a first prize of the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon in composition.

He continued studying yoga in France with Joel Potheret (Iyengar approach), and Michel Alibert (teacher trainer at the French association of Viniyoga, Desikachar technique).

It was during his many trips to India that he discovered the Yoga tradition.

He stayed in ashrams of Ramana Maharshi (Tiruvannamalai), Swami Ramdas (Kahangad), Yogashala of Sri Patthabi Joys (Mysore), Sivanandashram (Rishikesh).

At Haridwar (in the Himalayas), he stays with Swami Vijayananda (the oldest disciple of Ma Anandamayee) and at Gangotri, at the the Krishnashram.

He has taught Hatha Yoga only on personal courses, (following in the Indian tradition), in Lyon and Grenoble, to students of all ages and all levels.

His approach combines the rigor of “Iyengar yoga“, the strength of the Desikachar technique, but is also firmly rooted in the tradition of traditional texts of Hatha Yoga (Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita, Shiva Samhita, Tantras and Upanishads) while adapting to Western lifestyle.
